Most of the time I took hundreds and hundreds of photos in a week but didn't have the time or opportunity to post it in my blog yet!! Nowadays I have to resize all the photos before I post it. My image storage have only limited FREE storage .Since I started blogging 2 years ago, I carry my camera everywhere I went especially out of the home.As a blogger sometimes I lacked of mood to blog ..lacked of time or lacked of interest and etc...if you're a blogger you will understand what I'm talking about..You must wonder why I posted so many photos in a post,right? One of the main purpose why I post so many photos of the events and Mishu is to show my mom in Malaysia what I'm talking about all the time.Pictures speak thousand words ,right? I used to email her Mishu photos to view but not now..She can just go to my blog and see Mishu there..Here are some of Mishu photos I took weeks ago..

Fall is the season for us to clean up our summer stuffs around the yards and house.Beside clean up ,we also prepare chores for coming winter. Since we had fire place insert and logs laying around the lawn,we better split the log for this coming cold winter..too bad we don't own a log splitter ,so last month we went looking for a log splitter at Lowe's and Home Depot. But both store don't have stock at that time.A reliable log splitter is really expensive not to said we will only use for couple of time or maybe not even once before winter to split log if we happened to find some logs the year long. After comparing prices and tons of the log splitter ,we decided to rent it at Home Depot.I calculated the cost and usage, it will take us 10 years to recoup the $$$ if we bought one,not to said we need a spacious place to store it..You can rent any equipments in HD if you use it once a while.Why buy expensive equipment if we rarely use all year long,right? we have to took down our fence and gate to the back yard coz the log splitter is quite wide and large





after all we decided to replace a wider gate and door..so next year I don't have to manuallly bring in my compost and soil for my plants
the man of the house is splitting the wood :) actually using log splitter to split the woods really save tons of energy and time..just let the machine do the work..all Eliot have to do is to place the wood on the plate and pull the hydraulic handle to work it for him
we don't have truck or 4 x 4 to drag the log splitter home ,so Eliot ordered a tow hook and trailer hitch online to solve our problem..we can be independent ,don't have to ask neighbor for a favor all the time

after working for 4 hours ,Eliot said he done for the day!!!..but but I told him to finish up coz we needs to return the machine back to HD the next day..we rent this monster for 24 hours that cost us almost $130 including taxes,insurance and renting cost.

the next day this monster was back to HD

while waiting for HD guy to come out and tow this monster back to their store Mishu is hopping around like frog!!

our weather is really crazy...one day is so nice and fine ,about 60-70 F plus and the next is about 40 F plus..yesterday was 70 F plus!!

well,while my man was doing his work at the backyard, I 'm removing some plants from the pots to the ground or vice verse. to get ready for coming winter!

bought some perennial plants at deep discount price at Lowe's..love Azaleas

2 weeks ago when I was at beverages barn recycling cans,I saw the store front has 4 pots of Hibiscus.I was curious about the beautiful plants,so ask the store owner how the preserved his plants during winter coz I know hibiscus is a tropical plant..he told me he just let his hibiscus die outdoor during winter and buy new plants again each summer coz his friend own a nursery..he offered me his plants if I want..of course I want!!

I told Eliot to help me to bring back 4 huge pots of hibiscus from the beverage barn..The owner ask me to bring back his planters.Of course ,he want to save his planters for next year plants..

Immediately I run to Wal-mart to get few plastic planters

anyway,I dig up all this plants and replant in my own pot!

every home in Long Island have Montauk Daisy at their front yard. Well I guess by the name Montauk this plant must grown everywhere in LI.I wanted to get this plant last year but can't find store who sell it at bargain price..last week when I shopped at Walbaum supermarket,saw this plant on sale :3 pot for $12!! good deal!!

quickly grab 3 pots ..now a happy camper bringing home my beloved plants but looking for good spot to plant in on the ground ...I see this Daisy multiply each year until it's look like bushes..

This week is a very hectic week especially for poor Mishu.Mishu's after school programe teacher gave her some homework to do before the weekend.Her Chinese school teacher email me few sound wave programme like counting and greeting for me to practise with Mishu.Mishu hate doing Chinese school homework ..her Pre-school doesn't even teach her to write yet!..All she do at her Pre-school is just crafting ,story telling and singing..no wonder she hate her Chinese school!! Look at pathetic Mishu!!
