Do you know what we do on the 1st day of Chinese New Year? Days before Chinese New Year, I called an ex-colleague/friend to meet me for lunch in Flushing, Queens. I plan to visit the temple first ,then lunch later. My friend K agree to meet me for lunch and he told me his mom is going to join us too. On that day while I was driving to Flushing, K call me again, he told me his mom decided to change the lunch venue. When he mentioned the restaurant name, I know right away where it's but never eat there coz I'm not a vegetarian. Well, of course I don't have to be a vegetarian to eat there. Usually on the 1 st day of Chinese New Year,it's also know in lunar calender as Full Moon ,mostly Buddhism prefer to on vegetarian diet.
This vegetarian restaurant is well know in NYC
To my surprised, it's not only K and his mom arrive at the restaurant but his dad and mom's friends as well. We need a big table and the waiting is about 20 minutes
Look !! this place is so packed! And I didn't know they serve Vegetarian Dim Sum too!! 
All these fancy name Dim Sum make by bean curd/tofu..It's really delicious!! My first time eating this dishes and love it! Now I know where to get vegetarian Dim Sum!!

Roast Pork Bun..it's really taste like real "char siew" but it's not! Don't be fool by it's appearance!! Everything make from tofu and vegetables

Chinese Cruller (Yauh Char Kwai) wrapped rice sheet (chee cheong fun). I dunno what it's called..but it's taste gooood!!

This gal was in bad mood coz I drag her from her slumber sleep and bed. She refused to speak to anyone which is rude but all aunties said it's OK coz she still a small child.
At last she eat some Dim Sum. Few aunties gave her "ang pau" (red packet)but she not interested!! lol!
Mishu just love soy sauce,she finish up all the soy sauce but not her food.
After we finished our lunch,said good bye to everybody ,we visited the Mighty God temple nearby to gave our prayer. 
It's really frigid cold and windy on this sunny day..This China Doll wannabe was bundle up and refused to walk. Luckily I brought her stroller along.Stay tune for more foods and lion dance !!
