Thanksgiving Dinner 09

Sorry for the late update of our Thanksgiving dinner..As usual we invited MIL for this occasion..I been slaving myself in my kitchen for 2 days before Thanksgiving..I thought I'm going to cook a simple few dishes dinner but end up I cooked more dishes than I thought.Anyway, the bright side is I don't have to cook for the next 2 days
Mishu was so excited waiting for Thanksgiving dinner.I think she appreciated and understand what is Thanksgiving mean now..

Mishu's grandma brought her own camera to take plenty of Mishu photos
Mishu's request her daddy she want plenty of potato salad. She purposely choose her sit near potato salad
A roast turkey is a must for our Thanksgiving dinner!
String bean with bacon
Butter squash mashed potato
manicotti with chicken
homemade dinner roll.love this new found recipe,so soft and moist!
almond shrimp with butter...
fried and baked sweet potato with brown sugar
potato salad and butter squash soup. of course there is a pumpkin pie for dessert but didn't take any photos yet!..You must wonder why I slave myself 2 days in the kitchen, right? Well since I make everything from scratch,1 day is not enough, right? Overall this year we had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and family time together.. Now Mishu is looking forward for "Christmas" She shout "Happy Christmas" everyday!!..she even decorate the whole Christmas tree with ornaments herself

Oh my, you are very "sei lei", one leg kick cooked all the dishes. My fav is green bean casserole and sweet potatoes with lots of butter on the sweet potatoes. Mishu look so grown up, very sweet, pretty looks she has.

Hi there! You cook for a big army! How long it took you to cook all those dishes? That turkey is sure big. I didnt celebrate thanksgiving, as it is not a tradition for my family to celebrate it. But once, we have a Xmas dinner and I ordered a turkey from a hotel. Moist and juicy. Yummy.....it is not often that we have turkey here. It is not cheap either.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year in advance to you and family.
