Thanksgiving!! I guess everyone who live in US ,celebrated this special day with Turkey for dinner.As I know some people prefer steamboat a.k.a hotpot to replace turkey ( for Asian ppls) .I think we Asian not really crazy for turkey,some even roast chicken instead.Well,since hubby is American and love turkey dearly, I don't have the choice to cook others dish then turkey! Like every other year,I cooked turkey,sweet potatoes,string beans,potatoes,pasta ,pie and bread.The most special about these dish is I make all of them from scratch!! Actually I shop all the foods at last minutes and staying whole night preparing the food.I know,buying prepared side is easy than making our self but I enjoy doing it.. Mishu is ready for her Thanksgiving dinner.She change her dress and choose her own seating at 4.00 pm Her daddy is helping mommy with the table setting...the one and only task daddy help..Mishu is calling her grandma to have dinner..

Mishu wondering...should I pray for "leong leong" ( lady Buddha or Jesus Christ) to said thank you for giving me food ,toys and cartoons? **very confusing**

Mishu have her own glass of apple juice in wine glass,make believe she have wine like us. Mr Turkey waiting to be crave by daddy..I roasted this turkey overnight but by the time I woke up the turkey is over cooked and dry....should lower the temperature if roast over night...*sigh*Other spread....stuffed potatoes with cheese and dill, creamy bacon string beans

don't forget the drink too..I cut up some fruits to make Sangria..

Mishu keep saying she hungry...but mommy still taking photos."hurry mom,I'm hungry,the food is getting cold" yes... she did said that!

Not a bad Sangria..all I need is fruit and a bottle of Sangria wine!

it's just 4 of us having Thanksgiving dinner but the foods can feed atleast 8 people,right?

I like this potatoes dish,create myself..going to post this recipe at my kitchen later..For me I just eat a small piece of turkey's wings,but eat lots of pasta.I'm not crazy for turkey..well....
after the big meal,we had pumpkin and cream cheese pie.I don't like pumpkin pie so I tweak the recipe to mix with cream cheese at the bottom.I plan to shop on Black Friday so,I list down where should I shop after cleaning and washing up..We all went to bed early,a tired and long day for me.I surprised myself,I never go to bed at 10 pm but because of shopping I have the urge to do that! LoL! Stay tune for my Black Friday shopping!

1:It's been a while...for me to reevaluate about myself.Most of the time,I been busy ,keep chasing the time (Time is very important for me),busy running around to accomplish task and assignment and forget to enjoy life to full extend.Recently I learned a friend from Malaysia just passed away at the aged of 38.He was suffering from colon cancer for 2 years before he left us,that make me very sad but in a way,it's good for him, stop him from suffering.Too young and so much to look forward.My mind keep wondering back to the happy moment we all spend with him when he was in US.

2:I was working(full time) my whole my life since I was 12 year old until Mishu was born,now I'm in semi-retired.Ooospph!! still have to work at home!!

3:I love shopping,cooking,blogging,gardening,baking ,fishing and......still searching...maybe sewing,dunno yet!

4:I must have rice or noodles for my daily meal with hot and spicy sauce!

6:I 'm more financial responsible after I get married.

7:I had lost 40 lbs in 3 months, 12 years ago and now I gained all that back plus more after give birth to Mishu. Wish I can lost another 50 pounds again ,only wish so far! must praying and working hard!LOL!
