Fall or Autumn is here in US as we all know.This morning when I woke up,wet leaves fall is all over our yard.These few days we had rain and hard wind.Today the weather is nice even though no sun which I crave for many days.I still have lots of food photo need to take but what to do...(I'm talking to GOD)..The good thing about Fall which I like is seeing all the leaves changing their color and the weather is getting mild,not too cold or hot.The downside of Fall for me is raking leaves and cleaning our yard.Too bad we can't afford to hire a landscaper to do the work.It's really expensive to hire a landscaper or yard clearing here .For now I have to wait until all the leaves on the ground first before start raking and cleaning.

Our next door neighbour's backyard...Did you see the blue Trampoline...it's going to be Mishu's soon.Our neighbour giving their Trampoline to Mishu but her daddy still didn't make the effort to move it over.Maybe this weekend ,I have to nudge Eliot again before our neighbour change his mind.
Look at our grape trees....so fast all the leaves dried up but don't worried it's will come back next year again..
Last few days ,I rearrange all the firewood from the ground to our patio...phewww... what a hard work!

Look at the white lamp shade on Mishu's right side.I want to change the both whole lamp but Eliot is not really keen about my idea but anyway I bought 2 new lamp shade from Lowe's.Actually my choice is quite good,beautiful fabric beige color lamp shade but Mishu don't like it.She removed my new bought lamp shades from the lamps,set aside on the couch ,said"No good,no good"! Aiyoooooo not even 4 years old already give me opinion about decoration.At last I have to returned both lamp shades to Lowe's since both father and daughter don't like my idea and choice.
Anyway,I still want to do something with it.How it's now?.Better? Fall season color.I get the idea ,wrapping old lamp shade with ribbon from Better and Homes Garden magazine I subscribed.
At first I get light purple color ribbon,then return it back to Jo-ann coz it's look unmatched.I quickly go back to Jo-ann and choose this brown color to match our new rug.So if you have something old,don't throw away,recreate a life for them.Both lamp shades ribbons cost me $8.00 and my time is PRICELESS!!! lol!

Great job on the lamp shade... I haven't had a chance to take fall pictures yet... And the leaves on the tree are almost all gone.
Look like you had your work cut out for you. Lots of raking. Maybe Eliot can help you with it. I notice man can't take changes and they will hold on to all their old stuffs. You did a good job with the lamp shade. At least give a bit of color to it :)
I am glad you capture the fall view. We will not be able to see it soon as we get more rain and wind. Don't get discourage by me, but I like the lamp shade as simple as possible. How about you just lace the lamp shade around the bottom or the top part only. It will look more ellegant.

Actually the lamp shade fabric was stained,coz I spray some windex to remove dirt!lol! my two bosses won't let me change both lamps,so I try to cover something nice with it.It's hard to put riboon on the bottom and top,asyik go off the shape!lol! maybe I need more craft practise!

Wow, you really have a lot of trees in your backyard. We are done with our yard work now, leaves almost all gone and the snow is already flying. Good job with the shade.
