Bad Luck Again!

Yesterday morning I got a call from Eliot,his car broke down again on Grand Central Parkway,Queens .He told me he going to get his car tow back to the city and I have to go int to the city to bring him back.Well, last month we paid $460 for the repair coz the mechanic told him maybe his transmission still can be save.They removed some water from his transmission and now his transmission die on him! What a waste of $$$!! The $460 gone to drain! The bad news is the new transmission is going to cost a big $2K! His car is only 4 years old and we just pay off the loan. Maybe he have too much mileage on it but he take care of his car like a baby.We are in debate right now to get him another new car. If we decide he should get a new car ,it will be Toyota not Dodge again! I never like domestic car but he said he have no problem with his old Dodge.Eliot agree that Japanese car is still the best! But the problem is what should we do with his 4 year old car now? Maybe we can find a cheaper price transmission...Well,let see..Eliot is looking for a trustworthy auto shop by asking his friends for recommendation..

I'm using Queensboro Bridge from Queens to the city,no need to pay toll.The view in front of me is the cable tramp from Roosevelt Island.It's island between Queens and Manhattan.

While I was driving to uptown,I snap few photos along my ride ...As usual Manhattan traffic is always bumper to bumper..

I don't really like driving through FDR,the road is too narrow and most vehicles are speedy.If I miss the exit I have to go to the next one and some roadway is One Way only .Nice view,huh?

Eliot keep asking me to try the food but he have no idea what meat is inside the snack..sorry,I refuse to try the food because I can't eat beef..Since Eliot love Puerto Rico's food,I try to make some of his favourite myself but the problem I have no idea what's the name or don't recognises any of the food.What a joke!! Maybe I should look up at Mr Google..

I brought Mishu to see her pediatrician as I predicted she get infection for her sore throat.She so eager to see her doctor,said Dr Cruz going to give me sticker and lollipop!! She really is a good patient no fuss or crying when she sick .

When we come back from the city ,Mishu's doctor called.She told us that Mishu have strep throat.I pick up her antibiotic at CVS pharmacy later.

She love taking her antibiotic.I never heard kid love medicine but for Mishu taking medicine is like having candy or lollipop.

Look,she really enjoy her antibiotic!!

hmmmmm.....taste good!!

All done!! Wish all kids like Mishu ,no problem taking medicine when they are sick. If you're my regular readers ,you must realise Mishu sick every month.Whenever she sick I know she must have strep throat.Her doctor refused to prescript her antibiotic,ask me to wait the next day for strep throat report..Aiyoooo..the reason I bring Mishu to see her doctor is to get antibiotic but she refuse to prescript antibiotic until she get a positive result. well....what can I said...?

Luckily Mishu is a good patient when she sick.Hardly complaint or fuzz.All she do is lay on the couch and watch her favourite cartoon. I'm debate whether I should change Mishu pediatrician..Eliot don't really like the way she treat Mishu but he said it's up to me to make decision.Her doctor doesn't offer advise for Mishu's growing development...Our down size is not every pediatrician nearby take our insurance.The advantage of having Mishu's pediatrician is that the clinic is just less than 3 miles from our home..
