Our Long Weekend

Sorry for the late posting our long weekend outing.Remember
Gretrude and Zuriada spend Merdeka and Labor Day with me over the long weekend?.Mishu was sick and she take the priority posting first:).Anyway,we had an enjoyable Labor Day and Merdeka Day weekend.I think all we do is eat ,eat and eat until overloaded!!.I didn't take all our eating and food photos but I do take some outing photos to post here.I want to bring Gertrude and Zuriada to visit winery and a famous farm stall where they sell delicious cookies.Too bad I forget how to get there.I have to ask Eliot to be our driver and we also visit some wineries .

We went to Brenma Farm where they sell yummy delicious cookies.

This place is so busy selling pies and cookies. Eliot said the cookies is the best in the island!
You can see the price listed on the board.Yes,it's quite expensive but people just line up and grab the pies without blink.

Peach Cream pie sell for $28!! We think it's quite expensive even thought it's handmade or homemade style.

Local tomatoes.Honestly the farm stall selling fruits and vegetables are more expensive than the one in our local supermarket.I guess it's because their are small business ,can't afford to give wholesale price like retail store.
We do stop at few wineries.One of the winery is Pindar.We always visit Pindar once a year during summer.
Pindar is owned by a doctor and have it's own refinery and plantation.

Look at Mishu ponytail,cute right?.Gertrude is the one who make it for her.I have no idea how to do it right with her curly hairs!
Years ago these winery give out free wine tasting but now they charge 5 tasting for $5.00!.

This grapes is right time for harvest .I think they harvest the grapes before Fall.
I remember when I come during end of Fall all the grapes gone!.
Mostly all the winery have live concert on weekend.This guys is entertaining us. We can drink or eat at this patio while enjoying our self listening to his songs.
Look at the grapes,ripe and sweet.I took some and taste it.That bad of me ,right?This grapes is for white wine.
And this for red wine.Too bad I don't have the chance to taste this black beautiful grapes!!

After visited few wineries,we come back to have our Malaysian dessert !! the King of Fruit!

Luckily I bought 2 if not we have no idea which one taste better!
This one really taste good!.Just look at the meaty flesh!

I wonder how she get sick!.It's from the small durian she eat?. Anyway,she getting better now.Thank you for all your concern,appreciated it:)We all really have a nice time beside lack of sleep and tired!!.We stay up late until wee hours,eating and eating!!.I'm so trill

and happy Gertrude and Zuriada come for a long distant to spend the long weekend with us.Eliot really enjoyed chit-chatting with our guests .Hope Gertrude and Zuriada have a good time with us.
