These 2 days I been busy raking and cleaning up our yard.Yes,I know it's late now to clean up our yard but what to do?.My Man been busy with his motorcycle,he don't care if our yard full of leaves or flower!!.I'm looking for "Amigo"(landscaping guy) around our neighbourhood but so far I see none.I need to get some helper to clean our backyard before summer arrive.Here are some of my spring flower blossom in our yard..Let me tell you,it's so funny when I see flower blossom everywhere I feel better and happier..Do you have that kind of feeling?.

This trumpet-shaped petals actually appear first, even before the green foliage. It's called Yellow Forsythia
This flower come first before it's leaves.It's also act as hedge or border in the garden. I yanked and chopped all off from the border and left only one hedge ..Well at that time I didn't know it's has flower!!
This Magnolia smell so good
Our whole front yard smell so flowery.Magnolia come out at early spring.They will just stay for 2 weeks before the foliage appear.It's weird that this flower appear first before the green foliage too.
I remember 3 years ago,a guy drove by our home and ring our bell.He offered Elliot $500 to buy this tree.Elliot said "no" to him.He told Elliot that he will plant a different tree for him to replace this Magnolia he going to excavate.Elliot is very sentiment guy,so for him to sell something is so-used to him is a no-no!!.At that same time,I chopped down a tree in our backyard and he screamed at me.He don't even know that the tree exist until I told him.He said that tree was there since he was a teenager boy.Well,too bad.....have to go.....

I took this shot from Mishu's room.Too bad these Magnolia don't stay too long.Stay tune for more Spring flower.I see my Tulip ,Iris,Crocus,Lily,Gladiolus,Canna and Daffodil is coming out soon.

Wow, you have beautiful trees in your yard... Those magnolia is so pretty. Wish I had one in our front yard but then again, I'm too lazy to do gardening lah...

Lesley, I really like those magnolia in your front yard. I don't blame Elliot for not selling it. They are just too pretty and we get to see them only once a year and only for a few weeks.
It's really Spring at your area, all flowers blooming already and so beautiful. Here, no flowers yet. All my plants still "botak".

Get one Magnolia tree for your yard la.It's smell really good,No maintenance at all,no prune or fertilize,just let it be all year long

Yes,the flower here tak boleh hidup kat Malaysia,If not I'm going to send some Tulip for my mom to plant in her pot.too bad I think the bulb can't take the heat at all.

Gert,at first I told Elliot he should sell it but after looking at nursery ,I understand it's really hard to let Magnolia grow so big and mature .It's really take many many years.No wonder that guy wanna to paid $500!!

Our weather here is still cold around mid 50 to 60.Only some flower from tree come out,not bulb flower yet.Still waiting.I guess your plant will last longer if they delay from coming out early,rite?
