Let's me continue my second day tour in Bali.As usual,we have to wait for our tour guide at the lobby at 8.00 am after having breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. Our tour guide who is a Balinese Hindu, know his island very well .He bring us to Pura Ulun Danu Batur which is one of the largest live volcano in the island. It's took us 2 and half hour drive to reach at the top of mountain.Look at the beautiful scenery!! Below the volcano is the 2nd largest lake in the island
Look at the lava at the bottom of the mountain
Some tourist enjoy their lunch while looking at the beautiful view but we
prefer to sit inside, too cold for us...mountain air smell so good and fresh!! Another restaurant on the top of the hill looking toward the volcano
Black lava still looking healthy
Smoke still come out from the top of the volcano!!.They have no idea when this volcano going to erupt!!
We visit coffee factory.I forget what is this fruit?I dunno what it's this plant called, anyone?
A guy frying coffee bean ...the aroma is very strong!!

We tested few type of coffee drink and coco drink....hmmmmm ..........taste not too bad at all.Do you know mostly Malaysia coffee come from Bali?.I think the world famous coffee come from Bali Island too..

After we visit coffee factory,we stop at Craft Factory..
All these are wooden crafted furniture.......................izzit beautiful?
OMG!!.the price is so good when you know how to bargain..But how to carry this giant chair home?.
Love their handicraft...very creative and details
After we visited Craft Factory,we stop at one of the Holiest Temple in the island. These people wash their body from the holy water for purification
Hindu offering prayer
A Hindu guy praying across the holy water..Don't mistaken they are Muslim if you see they wear sarong and batik.Balinese grace their Hindu culture and religion very strongly
Hindu Temple
Did you see the holy water fussing out from the ground?..
The holy water pushing out the black sand from the ground.volcona?? Yes,we also wash our face and hand from the holy water for purification
Gold Fish in the pond ...sort of good symbol for the Hindu people and their religion
We stop at Terrace Pady Field to enjoy the beautiful view
What a beauty sight ,izzit?
Mishu standing looking at the Pady Field, all the local kids rushing to her, asking us to buy gift for her.The local selling technique very persistence, keep pushing and demanding us to buy from them.
After all the hu-ha ,keep getting chase from local to buy their stuff,we heading back to another small town for our dinner..Guess what it's our dinner today?
Balinese dish with very stylish decoration....seating on a tatami style dinner
Chicken on the stick with some sauce
Stir fried Vegetable
Fried Chicken and Fries Egg
Stir fried Tofu...eeerrrhh..the tofu taste a bit sour like spoilt. We think Balinese purpose make their tofu taste this way.
Tempe with special Balinese sauce.Tempe is a must dish for Balinese in their daily diet.
Nice lamp over our head
I'm scooping white rice from the basket..We was given melon cocktail drink.Mishu refused to eat at all...We have to wake her up for dinner, that the reason she have a fit!!Of course ,after dinner we went back Denpasar ,Kuta and I bought her Mr Mc Donald!!
Look at our meal...Sorry to said my mom not use to their cooking or taste of their dishes.Of course, when our tour guide ask us how is our meal,we said it's alright. My mom said we shouldn't critize their food,it's us who are not use to their style of cooking..I mean the spicy part.We notice they didn't eat spicy or chilli much.
This is my last post from KayEl,Malaysia.I'm busy packing and packing for my journey back to New York .I bought so much stuff here and now I'm having headache packing both our luggage.I bought 5 pairs shoes for Mishu in Bali..Of course, her beloved Disney Mickey and Minnie Mouse on it!!.Stay tune for the rest of my tour in Bali post when I'm back in New York.See you there!!

Have a safe trip back here Lesley. The last time I went to Indonesia I don't like their food either. They used a lot of coconut oil to cook their food and I just don't like the smell of it. Give me a call when you are back home.
Have a good trip home. Watch out the weight of your luggage. You might want to mail some of your stuff thru postage.
