Penang is a beautiful Island for vacation and a nice place to visit for makaning.But I realised now Penang food price are more expensive than KL foods especially the hawker stall at certain location.Beside that,taxi or cab doesn't run on meter,they just tell you how much they want from one place to another.So,most of the time I would take air condition bus to my destination.A public bus with AC just cost RM 1.00!!.

Char Keoy Teow with Chinese sausage,shrimp and cockles for RM 2.50...so far Indian Market "CKT" is the cheapest one!!.We ate "CKT" at Sunway Hotel hawker stall and the owner charge me RM 5.00!! Ouch!!that damn expensive!!.the portion is so small.Anyway,stay tune for more makaning and attraction photos!!.I really act like tourist,snapping photo all over and pushing Mishu in her stroller.I notice the local doesn't use stroller at all..All the children just walk with their both legs but not Mishu!!

For us family going to Penang is only for their food. We will eat from Ipoh all the way to Penang and Penang all the way back to Ipoh ha ha...
Ah, I'm dying for a bowl of Penang Assam Laksa... Wah, a bowl of Kari Mee with all the cockles, tauhu - only RM3.00.. So cheap ooooo.... If you ate in Penang Restaurant in DC, it costs you
US$9.50 a bowl, man...

It really brings back the memory of feeding those turtles! If we get to go to Penang, I want to bring my girls to feed those turtles!
The laksa used to be 80 cents and now it's $2.50 and it's considered cheap, man.... The food in M'sia is seriously expensive!
Ah...I miss all the food. Seems like the price of hawker stalls food is getting higher and higher.

you're right,the portion is so small.In KL they charge RM5.00 but it's double the portion Penang stall sell.I think it's come out the same when we compare the $$$ and portion.

Yes,they were told to lower the pagaoda bcoz it's higher than the mosque if not they have to close it.I hope the new CM will fight for chinese right in Penang.Yes,you must bring your gals to feed the turtles,Mishu feed 2 bundle of kangkong still wanna more!!.These days Penang foods and etc are really expensive.A average hotel charge RM180 pernight!!KL hotel still have RM 60 pernight wt the same standard
