I remember the first time I eat fresh oysters was at the famous Chinese Buffet Restaurant In Flushing. That Chinese buffet restaurant serve all kind of seafood including plenty of fresh oyster. In order to satisfied the customers appetite,a worker have to stand by at the counter to open the oyster all the time and to make sure the fresh oyster is available to us through out the day.My friend,Alan keep asking me to try one fresh oyster which I afraid to eat any raw food at that time. After trying the first fresh oyster with lemon and cocktail sauce,I immediately fall in love with Gulf oysters. From that experience onward I keep wondering when we are going to go back to that buffet restaurant again to enjoy the juicy fresh oyster.I know eating raw oyster over excessive might risk of any illness or medical condition that weakens the body’s immune system.Gulf Coast oyster processors have taken the lead in developing new technologies to ensure safer alternatives to traditional raw oysters .Three post-harvest treatment processes currently exist on a commercial scale. Each process has unique advantages and characteristics which provide greater convenience for all customers, while at the same time reducing risk for at-risk consumers. So remember,we still can enjoy fresh oyster but you must beware, smart and be caution.Bon Appetite!
