I shopped at Chow Kit Road with my mom few days ago.I remember,yesteryears when I was still in high school,I love to have breakfast or lunch at the Chow Kit Road market food store.I like the food there,especially the Cockles Mee Curry,Wonton Mee,Mee Goreng and Porridge.After so many years the food store still didn't change a bit.....old and dirty!!hahaha!!The Mee Curry owner stall still remember me when I aknowledge her....
I ordered Wanton Mee ( kwan loh mee) for Mishu but she don't have appetited.
Mishu didn't touch the Wonton Mee,she keep running to bathroom all the times.
We try to feed her but she still refused to eat it.
My Mee Goreng Pedas with shrimp and cockles.
I ordered "Ying Yong"(Mixed Cantonese Noodles for my mom.
Look at Mishu!!..She have running nose...poor Mishu
The weather here make her sick.....beside the weather she had mosquito bite all over her legs

Look at the price.....$1.00 only........so cheap for red long pepper!!

Sweet Ciku...I bought 2 kilos
Air Jambu....big and red!!..My mom bought a kilo for $5.00 but after she walked to another stall she saw the other stall sell a kilo for $4.00....aiyooo.....she keep saying she kena trick!!
Mango Lemak..I try a piece,it's very lemak but not really sweet,so I didn't buy it.
It's said in Malay as Mata Kuching,but it's a small version of Longan from local kampong..I bought 3 kilos....aiyooo...already sore throth still can't resist this fruit...my favourite fruit

Mishu took this pix....One one the Malay lady warn me to watch Mishu,don't let her walk alone..At that time my both hands was full with all the fruit purchase,so she said"jangan bagi anak jalan belakang,nanti kena hilang baru tahu,,dia lagi comel and cantik"!!..Whenever I go people keep remind me to take care Mishu very concern citizen..I feel so at home..

Great pictures... Thanks for sharing... That's KL Tower... Me and hubby went up there when he came to visit me for the first time... You should take Mishu up there leh... :)
I've been living in KL all my life and I only been to Chow Kit 4 times. I find it really crowded and also so difficult to find a parking so hardly venture there. Poor Mishu still not well yet? Give her drink a lot of water and stay out of the sun :)
if you are a regular to Chow Kit, it is not difficult to find your way there. Oh I love marekting there as things are cheaper! yes a bit wet and dirty! lol!
Oh gosh, Chow Kit road I also havent been there before. You terror leh wah some more can buy so many things. Keng leh.

You are right!! My mom told me that is KL Tower and she suggest me to take Mishu there..wah...you and Robert so romantic la,meet there like the movie.

Gert,you should visit CKR regularly once you come back to KL.They sell plenty of kuih muih mold for very cheap price.Prices there is very cheap.I park at meter parking,just a short distant walk.I love there!!
