Let me show you my mom's home CNY decoration.Today is the last day of CNY(Chap Goh Mei).Chinese people celebrate this last day with lion dance and prayer to mark the end of 15 days of Chinese New Year celebration.As usual,my mom will buy a bunch of chinese cake like'angku,huat kuah,Or ku 'and fruit to gave prayer at home.

My mom love to grown Ngiku(arrowroot) for chinese new year season.She grow some in the water for inhouse plant and some with soil in the pot at the front entrance.I bought that big pot of chinese bamboo at Carrefour during sale at RM19.99
The orchid come with the hamper.. is dying...poor ...orchid!!

I also bought small chinese bambo at Carrefour on sale under RM 3.00.Display on the staircase
We pray to God of Heaven on the night of 8th of CNY(Pi Ting Gong)
I bought Mickey and friend greeting display cartoon in Hong Kong.That 2 boxes of Kissses Chocolate was given by hubby to my mom during her visit 3 years ago in NY.My mom still display the 2 Hersey chocolate on her show case until today!!
Did you see the fresh sugar cane standing next to the door.I'm going to chop it to small pieces and chew up the juice....
My mom prayer to the God of Heaven....all the fruits ,kueh muih,agar-agar ,kuih bakul,red egg and dried vegetable.

Yes,my family ,sis and bro refused to eat all the kuih muih!! They are so spolit!!My mom have to gave her kuih muih away to her neighbour!

yes,CNY gone so fast..yes,I still enjoying the festival,,hari hari is a festival for me!!.Not yet,I still have a months to stay here..I won't forget to buy all special spices back with me.
