I almost forget about this post..too excited to post about my NYC trip..Here is our New Year eve's celebration at our neighbour home.We brought 2 bottles of Sparkling Cider Juice to our neighbour home and............ look below ..........................
I baked Seafood Puff ...using pie dough...yeah..it look like curry puff design at the edge ..I'm going to post the making of this puff in my Kitchen blog later...be patience:)
I made Strawberry and Banana Mini Flute Cake ..It's really fluffy and soft..

OK....The new year count is coming......."crank"..."tong"..."dong"..."crink..."...yeah..she hitting the pot with spoon!!..Don't ask me why,all the kids here hit the spoon at the bottom when the clock strike 12.00 am New Year!!..All of them run out of the house to the driveway with pots and stainless spoon ...hitting away ..... louder as they can......yeah...it's really cold and freezing.....Mishu follow their act too....hahaha!! ..I forget to ask why?.Now I keep wondering why they do it.It's the culture or cool way to celebrate New Year??...hmmmm.*scratching my head*

Mishu playing their karaoke and video game downstairs..We spend 4 hours enjoying our self snacking and drinking the night away....All the kids are happily enjoying each other company and so do we adult.You see even though we are neighbour but we all are busy with our own children ,housework and job..We hardly have time to seat down and chit-chatting away,so this celebration is a nice opportunity for us to gather together.Cheer!! To our new beginning of the year!!

Wah...Mishu can tahan until midnight. I went to bed before that....hehe.
Hit the pots and pans lor, coz cannot play fire crackers! Not safe for kids. At midnight here I heard some gun shots in the air. I was the only one still awake at midnight on New Year's. :-)

Itu puff, kasi recipe... I baru bought some roti canai from the Asian store - so I can make some puff this weekend.
Mishu is so cute with her dress. I like her dress so much.
Your goodies look delicious! And what a ritual of banging pot with spoon on New Year day. It's fun though, maybe that's why it was carrying down.

Looks yummy what you had baked. Me? Can't bake at all. Most would turn out non-edible and my husband always tells me "better buy from the bakery!"

aiyo...you orang muda still can't tahan ar??..hahaha!!..We do this every year,we stay up until midnight and pop up some drink to celebrated..Hiya....very cool ma,I just watch her from far away..after 2 or 3 bangI ask Mishu to come in..she doesn't wear shoes & coat.

I can't really bake and cook but I learn andI also interested into experiment all kind of food..I think practise make perfect!!..of course cooking and baking ourself is more expensive than buying at store but the fun is there!!..that same apply with fishing..when I went fishing,the amount of $$$ I use to buy bait,fishing rod,reel,time and energy is 10 X greater than buying a fish in supermarket,but it's fun to fish your own fish!!..talking about fishing I miss that!!.
Hi Beachlover, wow! Love your cakes. You are a wife and mother everyman wants for a wife, or a lady take home show our mother. Sure get approval, especially one who can make lovely cakes like yours, ha ha.
