I had to run few errands 2 days ago.Usually I will leave Mishu with hubby when he is not working but unfortunately that day he was too tired.So I have to bring Mishu along with me.
I have to make deposit in WaMu for Mishu's 529 Plan ,that is the college fund code 529.... in my bank when the date is due .529 is the code for Uncle Sam,that Uncle Sam is our beloved IRS!! .Actually it's automatic withdrawal from my checking account but I still need to deposit money into it.I set up a college fund for Mishu when she was 1 year old.At first I suggested to hubby when Mishu was born to set up a college fund but he not really interested at my idea.Well,if I want Mishu to have a better education and success in her future ,at least I try to help her starting at very young age.This is my Asian thinking,I guess.I think American don't really help their children education expenses or tuition fee,cause they feel it's not an obligation after their children reach 18 year old.No wonder ,most all of them still paying their student loan after 20 years graduated from college.Anyway,I don't care,I open a college fund for Mishu with my own name and bank account but hubby have to fund it!! hahaha!!!..
WAMU is short for Washington Mutual Bank.While I was doing my business there,Mishu is playing at their children PlayStation.

WAMU is slightly different from other bank..I mean their set up system..Their teller counter set up is quite cool..Look at the background.....look like office not bank.

I 'm not really want to take the counter pix,later they thought I'm going to rob their bank!! hahaha!!..All the cameras are watching me!!.At least they let me take Mishu pix in the bank which is good enough..

Look at Mishu's background..That the new set up for this bank teller counter in NY..I dunno how about other states.Any one care to verify?.

Mishu refused to leave after I done my business with them.Of course,beside this play table,they also provided 2 unit PlayStation and some books.I think this idea is quite cool, parents can do their business without been disturb and their children can play there,without getting bored.

Mishu ,let go...time up!!.I remember one time,when I make a withdrawal,the teller just give me a slip and walk away.I took the slip and wondering,what happened next?.Still... I didn't see that teller come back to me.I walk to another teller ask what happened to my money?.She point a cash machine counter at the corner for me.She said ,you need to take your money from that machine.I said...how??.You see I'm a bit jakun..hahaha!!..She take the slip from my hand and show me the number in my slip .Then she punch the number at the keypad at the machine.The my money come out!!!..Viola!!.Wow!...that mean the teller don't have to handle money to customer at all!!...Now I learn something new !!.
