I still remember Thanksgiving dinner ,we had so much leftover food for a week.So hubby remind me not to cook so much food again on Christmas afternoon while I'm preparing all the foods for dinner..I don't really plan a menu what to cook..so I omit 2 dishes..I shopped at Asian market the day before Christmas and bought plenty of fresh seafood and meat..Look at our dinner table.....I baked every foods except Stirred Fried Shrimp Artichoke and seafood soup..We had our dinner at 5 pm..nothing fancy this year...Last year,we celebrated our Christmas in Canada..
I made seafood savoury pie,stir fry shrimp Artichoke,seafood soup,5 spice roasted chicken and scallop potatoes...Everything is made from scratch except pie pastry..
Everyone love my savoury seafood pie and seafood soup..I took a piece at my special pie...it's really good...I never make this dish before and I wonder why...hubby keep praising what a million dollar dish is the savoury seafood pie..So today ,I make another special pie for our dinner..
Look at Mishu,she eat only shrimp in Artichoke and seafood pie..."Mishu you wanna some rice"mummy asked..."No No..I wanna shrimp""!!..Aiyoo..you eat all the shrimp in Artichoke"I said..*sigh*
Mishu know how to eat seafood,no pie crust..what a expensive taste she have!!

OK..I'm done!!..Of course,she finished another piece of seafood pie..We still have leftover food from yesterday dinner....Roast Chicken,scallop potatoes and arthicoke.....Hmmmmm......this Christmas dinner was successful..I didn't know the pie I created was so good....not even a small piece last until this morning..I will post my dinner meal in my Kitchen..hop over now!!..oh!! I also bake my own cheese cake!! but some accident happened to my cake!!..hahaha!!

Waahh, nice seafood dinner!! Mine was so pitiful, also seafood .. nothing fancy. I didn't want to eat any more turkey after Thanksgiving!
I had baked salmon, and stir fried shrimp. Small meal but good for my blood glucose level! Heheh.

Gert,now I so takut of festival,whole day long preparing, baking and cooking.Beside that I have to wash,clean sweep and mop after dinner.U know la my hubby *sigh*..yes,I just post the pie,hop over!!

don't worry la..Nothing fancy is much better,don;t have to work so hard!! hehehe!!.I,myself and me are the only one who cook and clean sampai mati lor!!.so 'cham one".mine hubby thought he is a guest!!...sure,pie only ..how many you wanna??..send me your order!!
Hahaha...why your hubby sounds just like my Asian hubby ah? He only knows how to eat, never help in the kitchen. The most he would do is put the dirty dishes in the sink and that's it! I'm like you have to do everything in the kitchen, it sures a lot of work! Even with the dishwasher, still a lot to wash!

are u sure u hubby and mine NOT TWIN?..hahaha!!..sama kaki!!..I have to ask him to help me set table when we have guests and he only do half job done!!.every summer I will plan one BBQ party to invite friends over,he hardly lift his hands to help me but in return he join friends drinking and chit chating..my invited guest have to look after Mishu while I'm running up and down to BBQ and prepared food..aiyooo..but when he wanna to do his own stuff ,he is superbullet fast!!..now Mishu happily carry his dishes and glass to kitchen sink for him!!hahaha!!lagi teruk!

I bake roast chicken with CAN,it's need the whole space,only one rack to fit..I bake my cheese cake with roast chicken,I set timer for chicken but not cheese cake,so U imagine what happen la...over baked the top until it's taste like brownie...hubby and MIl said that!!..they both just eat one piece,refused to touch anymore!!*sob sob,sob*
So much food..haha..same here..
