Lesley, we only had some flurries but the news said we might have some snow tomorrow and Wednesday. But is really windy outside. Is about 50 miles an hour. All our garbage bin are flying all over the place :)

I'm so looking forward to our snowday in Richmond... Last year, we didn't get any and I was very disappointed...

Snow is pretty when they are still fresh! But ugly when it starts to melt, mixed with dirt and salt esp on the roads and the parking lots! :-)

We don't have snow here in CA except in the higher elevations .. Doug hates snow, and I hate the cold! Haha.

This reminds me the day when I was in New York City, it was the year where too much snow and all the transport was installed. How lucky I was, why? I get to play with snow in the middle of the road in NYC, incredible! :)

OMG.... I am glad it doesn't get that way too often here in Nashville!!!! It IS at freezing temp these past few days though! :( It LOOKS beautiful though!!! How do you tahan? What temp do you set your termostat at???

Oh wow, I love your backyard! You have a big backyard and grown trees that provided you with privacy. I don't see neighbor at your back too, how nice!

Gert,yes today is very cold too..I'm not going out there even I have plenty of errand to run.I hate driving on snow.I almost had car accident many many time,when my car "buang".I rather stay safe at home:))..keep warm

You're right!!..When the snow melt,it'really look so dirty and messy.I always love Ca weather but with recent wild fire,earthquake and mudslide...make me wonder why CA property still high and expensive..I saw Discovery Channel said Tsunami near Northeast Pacific is over due,going to hit any time..but Portland is a beautiful state to live...raining all the time.

You did visit NYC b4??.A very old and dirty city!!.I remember a big snow storm in late 90's,all subway which ride above not underground was stop for 2 days,and I have to walk 2 feet snow to work at downtown..The only place is nice in city is Central Park..the snow is still fresh and you can ride snow slide in the park..other than that everywhere is murky and messy

aiyoh!!..I have to set temp at 65 F only,cannot afford to set higher bcoz burning oil is so expensive $3.20 a gallon like burning our $$$ away!!..so have to wear sock and sweater at home...hubby not happy said at home also need to wear sweater but I told him,poor ppls need to wear sweater at home,rich ppls can just do naked!!next year we going to install our burning stove,burn kayu rather than burn $$$.Now afraid Mishu will get hurt wt fire place.

Yes,our back yard is very long,to all the way back the next street.It's almost 1 acre but not fun for cleaning and raking.There's still alot of work need to be do back there,too much poison ivy on the ground.Our next door neighbor just hire tree company to clean their backyard and paid $4K for it,hubby said too expensive,so I'm going to hire worker myself next spring to clean up.We only allow Mishu go up to shed.We don't have neighbor at the way back coz that property also belong to us.Too bad we don't have accessment if not I can build another house!! ahahah!!
