Shopping Saturday (Bakeware and Cookingware)

Today I decide to shop for Mishu's winter clothes at Gap.Mishu grow up so fast, her last year winter clothes is too small for her.Usually I will buy 2 size bigger at sale price and keep until she can wear. But Mishu size doesn't match her age anymore because she look older and bigger than her actual age. While I'm paying my purchase , I realise there is a notice stand on the cashier counter advertise "Kids Casting Call".So I ask the cashier and pointing at Mishu "do you think she qualify to enter the contest'?.At that time, Mishu is trying headband and other hair accessories.Sure, she is cute!,the cashier said.OK,I told her that I will enter Mishu for the casting call.Well,I just enter her casting contest online at the same time I posting here and it's really easy.Usually,I really hate thousands of questions before I can submit my contest but I find this contest is really simple and easy. So,any parents out there who want to enter their kid to this contest, you can simply uploading your baby pictures and enter the contest at gapcastingcall before the closing date .The prize is not really grand but it's an experience and chance for your baby face to see by millions in Gap store windows across the country .Hurry up before the closing date!!.I done that already!!.Don't miss the chance for your baby to get some small prize or to be a proud parents!!.

After shop at Gap's ,my next destination is homegoods .
Well, some of you know ,I just learn baking...hmmm about 2 month ago, right?. I'm interested to get any bakeware now,so I can bake anytime without looking for it the last second..Usually I shop at homegoods for others stuffs than kitchenware or bakeware.I really like this store because it carry branded goods at discount price.Look what I got today!!.Hubby will get a big surprise when our credit card statement arrive at end of the month.hahaha!!

I bought all this dining ware at clearance price, that the reason, I can't find exactly a full set of everything .That Japanese plate is for hubby ,to eat his sushi.

oh!! ooospphh!!.Watch out for my foot.hahaha!!don't look at them!!I never done pedicure in my life.Actually all the stuffs I just put on kitchen floor,so I try to avoid the direct light from the my kitchen light.oh!! this cookies sheet said I don't have to use parchment sheet,so I figure out to save buying parchment paper,I better buy this Sliders.

At last I found this Madeleine pan !! I'm so excited,so I keep looking for non-stick mold,I prefer everything non-stick for my cooking but to my surprise this mold is the one and only available there.I quickly snatch and dump in to my shopping cart.

This is how it's look .It's also come with a recipe for baking.Nice size too.

Look I found another Madeleine pan but it's silicone by Kitchen Aid.I show hubby this pan when I get home ,he said how to bake Madeleine in this plastic mold!!.I told him this silicone is a new invention of today baking. He read the instruction and said"oh!! bake at 475 F only,so at 476 'F,it's melt!.hahaha...very funny..

Look at my accomplishment today!!.Not bad,huh!.Pheeewww!!..I better bake some cookies and bread for hubby before the bill come.

All the above bake ware and dinnerware bought from Home Goods.Love this store now.Have good selection and price below normal retail store.

Okay, let me show what I got in my garage.Still didn't use yet, bought at last Christmas.
This roaster still didn't use yet, going to use this coming Thanksgiving.I think I bought it online at macys last year.

Oh!! I found a Paella pan at Macy's last month..Hubby ask me,what else to cook beside Paella in this pan?.*I'm scratching my head ,thinking what else"?..
Another non stick new wok without the long handle. Also bought at Macy's at sale.

I bought this pot "Simply Calphalon" at linen & Things on sale .Actually it's open stock, brand new.On display merchandise, that ok,as long as it's not used.

My daily use pans, skillets, wok and pots, hanging on the kitchen wall.Too bad my kitchen is small,so this is the other alternative for storing. Sorry, I'm not a pro chef but I love buying cookware all the time.I still have more pots and pans in cabinets downstairs. That is just half of what I show here.

My daily use covers for the pan, skillet ,pot and wok.I have to hang it up since my kitchen is quite small.I wish ,I have plenty of cabinets for my cookware.By the way,I get all the hanging hooks and rails from ikea at budget price.

Lesley, I want all the stuff you bought. I have the same problem as you. Each time I went shopping I will check out the household department first and not clothing. That comes second :) I really like the Paella pan. I have to get one for myself :) :)
