Pandan Sweet Bun

Too bad,the bun is heavy, that mean must have a lot of water retention.Something is very wrong!!.

I was surfing at every food bloggers recipe for Green Tea Cake recipe but mostly all of them suggest to use Matcha Tea powder instead.I don't have matcha but I have pandan flavor .So I decide to try out Pandan Sweet Bun recipe from Little Corner of Mine .I realised my bun is quite heavy.Something goes wrong here!!! I follow everything single ingredients except no bread improver, don't really know where to get it.Luckily,I didn't stuff red bean paste filling in to the bun.If not, what a waste!!.
Maybe I need more baking to improve my skill and quality. If I have time,I'm sure going to baking class.I always love cooking and culinary art but don't really take serious initiative for it.Yesteryear,I took Hotel and Catering Management Courses in KL but never apply it.What a waste of money!!.Maybe in future after Mishu go to school ,I can consider iceculinary ..I don't mean to gain the skill from the school and open my own bakery.Just learn the basic and bake for fun.Furthermore ,hubby love bread not rice.Bakery shop is every where especially Chinese bakery in Chinatown.I realised every block have one bakery store.Maybe the profit is really good, that the reason.I hear some Italian bakery in Manhattan make good cake.Baby Watson Cheesecake is good too, bought few time in NYC.It's really cheesy and creamy.

After the first proofing, we need to punch the dough, shape it into ball and let it proof til double in size for the second time. It should be soft and fluffy instead of heavy. What a waste right because the color and everything look great! Auntie Lily helped me shaped that buns actually because she spent a night at my house and this was served for breakfast the next day along with homemade bak kwa.

The bun look pretty good to me especially if you spread it with some homemade Kaya.
