Delimas Prawn Noodles Soup

Ooossspphh!!!I almost forget Crispy Shrimp Chilli!!Don't eat without it!.Add in the 'kick" taste.

Ohhh!! I love my fried shallot!!

I had try Hup Loong Prawn Noodles Paste but never try Delimas brand yet .This product is sponsor by mytasteofasia. A neat and nice packaging with a good amount net weight of the paste.I like to color and texture of the paste compare with Hup Loong.Hup Loong paste is dry like meat floss.Another thing,I found that Delimas paste come with quite an amount of chilli oil in the'ready to eat'paste which I like.Well,I also noticed that this product have 2 years of shelf life, which is good!!. I live in suburb of NY not NYC,so I need to stock up my pantry all the time. Most of the time ,my pantry full of cans, pastes and dry grocery.Sometimes,I forget what had I bought and overlook my products in the deep corner or under another product. Delimas Prawn Noodles come with cooking instructions which is very easy and fast!!.The key words on the packing clearly written"ready in 15 minutes"!!.There are 2 way of cooking, microwave or stove top.I choose both way ,I'm a short- cut person, don't have much patience.O.kay,here it's goes...
Ingredients in the paste
-------------------------
Cooking oil,onion,shrimps,chilli,galangal,garlic,lemon grass,sugar,salt,flavour enhancer(msg)
Here is my method
-------------------
I soak half packet of dry vermicelli(Mee Hoon)in hot water for 10 minutes.I used 4 qt of water to boil my whole chicken breast for the soup base and later remove the white meat .Shredded the white meat chicken for garnishing. In the other pot I boil a couple of eggs and add some salt in the water.I understand from my mom that the shell won't stick to the egg, that proven true!!.Prepared some clean wash green mustard(choy sam) and bean sprout in a bowl with some water to blanch in microwave for 2 minutes.Add Delimas Prawn paste and a cube of Knorr's shrimp in to the boiling soup base after removed the whole chicken breast.Remove Mee Hoon from the hot water and set on the side.Add some shrimp in the boiling soup. Pour boiling soup onto Mee Hoon and sprinkle on some shredded chicken, fried shallot, cut egg, green mustard, bean sprout and shrimp.
Now it's time to eat my dinner,Prawn Mee Hoon Soup,Penang Style!!.It's said on the packing that this paste can serve 4 to 6 persons but I just make it less than 4 serving because I''m the only one who is going to eat .Don't forget Crispy Shrimp Chilli!!.You can get Crispy Shrimp Chilli at mytasteofasia .I like my noodles soup spicy!!.Give it a try if you haven't cook any Delimas Prawn Noodles Soup,it's not bad at all!!.Now I just remember,I didn't put any pork at all.Well,it's a halal noodle soup!!.As long as I add a lot of fried shallot, that matter!!
