Chicken Chop with String Bean

Chicken Chop garnish with raw red onion and stir fried string bean.This plate belonged to Elliot's.Mishu's don't have onion garnish but can you believe it ,she finish her whole chicken chop!!!

Chicken Chop grill in a non stick pan with cover on.Fast and easy!!

I like to cook or grill ,whatever you call it,in a non stick skillet with lid on.I think this way is more easy and quick to make small quantity meal.If just for 2 pieces of whole leg,I think it's a time consuming to broil in the XL oven.As for the BBQ pit,mine is charcoal,so it's quite a pain to start the fire ,bring my foods and equipments down to my patio.I use the pan cover to cook especially with bone intact in my whole leg chicken.Furthermore,the meat is more moisture and tender,not dry and too burn on the surface.I don't even put any oil in my skillet for grilling,just lay the skin part on the pan when it's hot with sizzling sound.

Actually ,I make this meal for Elliot and Mishu since I'm eating left over Assam Laksa again. I removed the fats and bend the parts between thigh and leg .I used to work as kitchen hand cum cook in KFC Zoo Negara while waiting for my SPM result.I forget what is the exact word to bend the bone inside out from the thigh.But it's make the chicken thigh cook thoroughly not bloody.I marinated the whole chicken leg with some sugar,black pepper,salt,paprika and garlic powder over night.Both father and daughter love very very well done string bean,so I just microwave for 10 minutes before stir fry with minced garlic.It's an easy to make meal.Just within 30 minutes to cook and serve.

Beachlover, I also cook my chicken this way. Is fast and easy and no messy kitchen. Is better than frying it, right.

My hubby definitely say no no to the raw onion. He's not a big fan of onion whereas I can eat the WHOLE onion raw.
The chicken looks delicious.

wow! we both have the same way of cooking this kind of meat ! hehehe!.you're right! I don't have to clean the stove very hard after cooking.The lid cover prevent oil from splanter everywhere.

CAt.my hubby don't like to eat vege all the time.Said string beans,aspragus and snow peas must be very well done cook.Onion is ok raw but not cook!!Now Mishu is also picking up her green in her meal:(

Yum...thanks for the recipe. I'm going to try it. I usually bake the chicken legs in the oven and this is definitely another twist.
