Ruam Mitt Thai (Instant 3 Mix Tapioca Dessert)

I add some crush ice and I think the santan powder have weird taste.Do any one of you like santan powder?.I prefer coconut milk instead of powder.

After boiling and mix with fresh fruit .Yes,the packaging photo look good, that why I bought it.
3 different color..Pink,Yellow and Green.

Do it look like Chendol?.Not really, actually it's made from tapioca in thread with colouring. It's really easy to prepare .Just boil some water for the dried Tapioca thread and tapioca pearl first.Stir occasionally and let it boil for 10 minutes. And in another sauce pot,I boil hot water to dissolve coconut powder.Ready on 10 minute. This package come with sweet coconut powder, tapioca pearl and dried Jackfruit on the side. But I found out that this dessert don't have flavor.I have to add extra coconut milk on top of the coconut powder provided. And again I add fresh plum and nectarine.I guess I'm used to chendol flavor and this product is not really up to my expectation.Maybe I should add coconut sugar(gula melaka).Honestly,I just ate a bowl and Mishu just taste few spoon and run away. She refused to eat anymore.Usually, she love dessert but not this one. I still have some sitting in my fridge.I'm thinking should I throw away or modified it again?..Let's see!!

Beachlover, I will used only powder santan for savory dishes but not on dessert because it gave some funny smell. The best brand to used is Chao Koh brand from Thailand. Yeah, maybe next time you can add some gula melaka :)

beachlover, have you improvise the dish? I like the coloring they use. I saw this packet at my asian store. But have not got the gut to purchase it yet. I still like the tapioca pearl for bubur cha cha. And really looking for actual cendol. The viatnamese store did sell their version of cendol. It tasted pretty good. The next time I buy it I will post in my blog.
